PURPOSE:To stably and surely recognize the recognized object even when the illuminance of illumination is not equal and it is changed when the time passes in the image recognizing device to image-pick-up the recognized object and recognize the recognized object from the image. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted of a camera to perform the image pick-up of the recognized object, a filter circuit 2 to remove the noise of a video signal from the camera 1, a differentiation circuit 3 to differentiate the video signal, an edge detecting circuit 4 to detect the edge from the differentiated video signal and output an edge detecting signal, a clock output circuit 5, a counting circuit 6 to count a clock at the video section of the recognized object from the edge detecting signal, a counting data memory 7 to store temporarily the number of counting for each scanning line and an arithmetic circuit 8 to recognize the recognized object by storing the counting data of the collation pattern of one or above and comparing it with the counting data of the recognized object. |
