PURPOSE:To unify terms between each knowledge base by providing a term dictionary as one of knowledge bases, obtaining the terms from the term dictionary while inputting information to each knowledge base, or adding the terms in the term dictionary. CONSTITUTION:A maintenance data inputting means 16 and an abnormality history data inputting means 17 are used at the time of preparing a maintenance data base 12 and an abnormality history data base 13. The terms necessary for preparing the knowledge bases 12 and 13 are obtained by referring to the term dictionary 15 in which the terms common to each knowledge base 12 and 13 are stored, and when the necessary terms are previously present in the term dictionary 15 as the common terms, the terms are obtained from the term dictionary 15 and used. And also, when the necessary terms are not present in the term dictionary 15 as the common terms, the terms are added and stored in the term dictionary 15, and the terms can be used as the common terms. Thus, the terms can be unified between the knowledge bases 12 and 13. |
