摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide an arrangement structure of a clutch having a change-over quality which can be compared with that of a planetary gear type transmission and which requires a slight pump power, by auxiliary using a pressure medium operated engaging element which can act in the direction in which friction discs are engaged with one another. CONSTITUTION: In a friction clutch, friction discs 12, 13 adapted to be axially moved are engaged with each other by at least one engaging spring 14. The friction discs 12, 13 are separated from each other via a pressure medium operated element 15 having an axial piston structure which can overcome the engaging spring 14. In this arrangement, a pressure medium operated engaging element 16 is auxiliary used, which can act in the direction in which the friction discs 12, 13 are engaged with each other. Further, the engaging spring 14 can separate friction discs 12, 13 from each other with the use of a separating element 15 even though the friction discs 12, 13 are moved in the engaging direction by the engaging element 16.</p>
