LINE PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE:To harmonize the line pressure of an automatic transmission with the output of an engine at all times on the assumption that the automatic transmission is connected to the engine in which plural throttle valves are disposed while being lined up in the direction of the flow of intake air. CONSTITUTION:A mechanical throttle valve 15 and an electric throttle valve 17 are disposed in the intake air passage 13. The mechanical throttle valve 15 is mechanically connected to an accelerator pedal 14. The electric throttle valve 17 is opened/closed by an actuator 16. The opening Tn of the mechanical throttle valve 15 is detected by a sensor 65, and the opening Ts of the electric throttle valve 17 is detected by a sensor 66. The openings Tn and Ts of the respective throttle valves are compared with each other, and the smaller throttle opening is employed as a throttle opening for controlling the line pressure of an automatic transmission 23.
