PURPOSE:To make the forging of the recording medium unable and to enable a recycling use by using an optical recording alloy layer, the color tone of which is changed with the generation of crystal metamorphosis due to a heat, as the collating use or secondary recording part, as well as a magnetic stripe. CONSTITUTION:A card-shaped recording medium 1 is constituted in such a manner that a magnetic recording layer 3 having the magnetic stripe is layered on a supporting body 2 and further the optical recording alloy layer 4, the color tone of which is changed with the generation of crystal metamorphosis due to a heat, is formed on the layer 3. The main informations such as a value, an effective limit, etc., of the card are recorded on the layer 3, and a date and the balance are printed on the layer 4 with a figure or character so as to make them visible by the user. Further, by recording an ID information 6, service information 7, etc., on the layer 4, the magnetically recorded main informations can be confirmed by the issuer, then the safety can be improved. |
