PURPOSE: To provide an electro-optical interface to be mutually connected through a single axis and bidirectional free space optical bus to the subsystem of electronic system. CONSTITUTION: A frame is provided with many subsystems 200, and the respective subsystems have supporting means constituted so as to be installed on the frame. Further, the subsystem has a function circuit 20 held by this supporting means and constituted so as to generate a 1st electric signal and to receive a 2nd electric signal and a light generator 110 for converting the 1st electric signal to a 1st light beam polarized as prescribed. Moreover, the subsystem has an amplitude beam splitter 140 optically coupled to the light generator and a photodetector 150 connected to this amplitude beam splitter. |
