<p>PURPOSE:To enable spatial pointing by a transmitter, further, to transmit the information of the spatial pointing from the transmitter continuously for a certain degree of time without enlarging the energy consumption of the transmitter so much and to receive the transmitted information of the spatial pointing by a receiver without fail. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 60, receiver 62 and device to be controlled by the received signal of the receiver 62 are provided. The transmitter is equipped with 1st-4th light emitting elements Y1, Y2, X1 and X2 to emit beams having the emitted light quantity distribution of a characteristic to lower the quantity of light respectively away from an optical axis. The transmitter drives the 1st-4th light emitting elements Y1, Y2, X1 and X2 so as to emit the beams with mutually different patterns. The transmitter is equipped with a power supply switch composed of a touch sensor and a time constant circuit to hold the ON state of the switch.</p> |
