PURPOSE:To provide a linear light source which can improve the coefficient of utilization of the light emitted by a light source element. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting elements 12 are so arranged that the disposition reference line L1 of the light emitting elements 12 and the diagonals of light emitting faces 22 are aligned with each other. Hereby, the region of the light emitting face where the light can be effectively used becomes larger than conventional ones. |
