PURPOSE:To provide a fuel cell of high safety and reliability by preventing phosphoric acid from adhering directly to a cooling pipe so as to prevent the cooling pipe from its corrosive deterioration. CONSTITUTION:A unit cell 1 is constituted by arranging an anode electrode 1a and a cathode electrode 1b interposing a matrix layer 1c impregnated with an electrolyte. A plurality of these unit cells 1 are laminated through a separator 2 or cooling plate 3 to constitute a cell main unit. A cooling pipe 4 for circulating a refrigerant in the inside is provided in the cooling plate 3, and a resin film of electrolyte resistance is formed in a surface of this cooling pipe 4. Since the cooling pipe 4 is coated with the resin of electrolyte resistance, the cooling pipe is isolated from the electrolyte and prevented from corrosive deterioration. |
