PURPOSE:To prevent scratches from being produced by providing nozzles between and side of multiple conveyors for transferring sheets such as surface- treated steel sheet, etc., coming out successively from a lapping roll, respectively, to produce air cushion when the subsequent sheets are transferred. CONSTITUTION:In a tinned steel sheet production line, a tinned steel sheet is cut at a specified lengths by a shearing machine and transferred by a fixed speed conveyor 11 and, when it reaches near a lapping roll 14, a sheared sheet 2 is attracted toward the roll 14 by a magnetic force generated by transmission of electricity to the roll 14 to set it at a specified position. Then transmission of electricity to the roll 14 is stopped to drop the sheared sheet 2 on the conveyor 21. When the subsequent sheet 2 drops on a stepped conveyor 21, a dropping angle of the subsequent sheet 2 relative to a preceding sheet 2 is reduced by the air injected from an air nozzle 31, and an air cushion layer is formed by the air from a side air nozzle 34. Thus production of scratches can be suppressed. |
