POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION

Disclosed is a polycarbonate resin composition which comprises (a) 40 to 99% by weight of a polycarbonate having (i) a repeating unit (I) represented by the general formula (A): ... (A) wherein X' to X4 are each a halogen atom, (ii) a repeating unit (II) represented by the formula (B): ... (B) and (iii) a trihalogenophenoxy group represented by the general formula (C): ... (C) wherein X5 to X7 are each a halogen atom, at the terminal of the carbonate; and (iv) a viscosity average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000, the proportion of the repeating unit (I) in the main chain being 1 to 10 mol %; and (b) 60 to 1% by weight of rubber-like elastomer. The polycarbonate resin composition of the present invention is excellent in heat resistance and flame retardance in addition to its favorable rigidity and heat distortion temperature, and greatly improved fluidity and impact resistance.
