The plastics ski boot has a lower part enclosing the foot and heel in the form of a variable sized shell (1) attached at two facing points (5) to a legging-type upper (4). One end of a cord (11) is fixed to the upper for lacing up the shell. At least one side of the upper has an extension (10) extending over the shell under its attachment point (5). The cable is tied to the extension some way from the attachment point. At least one of the cable ends is fixed to the upper by an elastic damper. USE/ADVANTAGE - The ski boot is designed so that the force applied by the skier when doing up the boot-upper and when bending the leg forward is better used, by creating a lever effect. |
