The invention relates to a device for the heat treatment of tissues, which is comprised of a laser (20) provided with means for emitting pulsed laser radiation with a sufficient number of pulses to deliver a resultant total energy for heat treatment of tissues, the device being characterised in that it is comprised of means (30, 40) for adjusting the number and duration of pulses, said means emitting at least two pulse sequence groups, a first pulse sequence group supplying approximately 70 to 80 % of the total energy and a second pulse sequence group delivering 30 to 20 % of the total energy. The invention allows the total duration of tissue heat treatment to be shortened.
