PURPOSE:To perform adequate control of a battery by correcting a calculation value of a charge condition with a measured value of time during flowing of a shunt current. CONSTITUTION:Time, for which a battery is actuated, is added to time, for which the battery is used before actuated, to obtain time t1 for which a shunt current flows. Next, density of an electrolyte is measured, and concentration of a zinc ion in the electrolyte is obtained from the density to calculate a charge condition(SOC). This SOC is corrected based on the time t1 and displayed. In the next reset discriminating process, the battery is detected for whether its complete discharge is provided or not. When the complete discharge is not performed, the above-mentioned process is repeated, and when the complete discharge is performed, the time t1=0 is obtained to serve as a condition of start. In this way, a proper value of the SOC can be calculated. |
