摘要 The valve system to mix a number of suspensions in the papermaking industry is structured so that the valve stems are interconnected through a single operating component so that all the closures are operated simultaneously. The separate flow channels taper in the closing direction of the valves. The flow channels are arranged with the valve movement so that part of the valve gives an opening movement when the stem is operated and another part gives a closing movement. Pref. the valves are in line with each other, with a common valve stem, or the valve stems are parallel to each other. The flow channels are a mirror image of each other, and the valve movement is against each other. The flow channels next to each other are reversed so that they taper in different directions for the valve stems to be moved in the same direction each time. The valves are moved axially in different positions, and are held in place in each position. The valve stems rotate in the housing. The flow channels are formed by the outer surfaces of the valves and the inner surface of the housing. ADVANTAGE - The valve system is simple and accurately maintains a constant volume flow while the mixt. is changed from time to time, or maintains a constant mixt. while the volume flow is varied.
