PURPOSE:To prevent productivity from lowering even in the case of requiring various processing using a paper user interface, especially, processing which can not be executed. CONSTITUTION:A control sheet discrimination circuit 3 discriminates a sheet based on a sheet detection mark and job attribute data read from a job control sheet (sheet) and informs a system controller 4 of the discriminated result. The controller fetches corresponding command information 38 from the data on the sheet from a command storage part 5, and a command processing circuit 6 confirms the status condition of recording parts 10 and 11 necessary for executing the command based on the command information. Subsystem controllers 7 and 9 instruct an automatic document feeder 1 and an image reading part 2 based on the received information on the propriety of execution. In the case that the command is executable, image information read from a document is transmitted to a subsystem and processed to be outputted. In the case that it is not executable, the subcontroller is instructed that the document is fed ahead, and processing for the document is not executed until a next sheet is read. |
