PREPARATION OF HETEROGENOUS RUBBER MOLDED PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To enhance the bonding properties in the boundary region of a rubber insert part 4 and a main body rubber part 3 different in rubber characteristics. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2 are arranged to the cavity 73 of a rubber mold 7 and unvulcanized compounded rubber 4A constituting a rubber insert part 4 is pressed to the inner wall surface 2t of the outer cylinder 2 to be temporarily held thereto. Thereafter, unvalcanized compounded rubber constituting a main body rubber part 3 is injected in a cavity 73 from injection holes 73a-73f to cover the unvulcanized compounded rubber 4A. When the whole is vulcanized in this state, the rubber insert part 4 and the main body rubber part 3 are united.
