PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation of a printing start position or the change of the dot diameter in a page by inhibiting the difference of laser power in the page. CONSTITUTION:A laser ON/OFF control part 62 controls lighting and extinction of a laser diode in accordance with printing data in the case of the inside of a printing area. In the case of the outside of the printing area, the laser diode is turned on for the purpose of detecting a laser beam by a start sensor. The feedback enable output is not outputted to a laser power control part 63 till the end of printing of one page. Then, a latch circuit 30 latches a digital value till the end of printing of one page. Consequently, an analog output A from a D/A converter 31 is not changed during printing of one page. The digital value latched in the latch circuit 30 can be varied between the page and the next page. |
