PURPOSE:To decrease power consumption by allowing a master station to generate an incoming signal in the same period as battery saving of a ratio telephone set in synchronization with a clear-down operation to make the off-period of battery saving long. CONSTITUTION:When the radio telephone set 3 transmits a clear-down control signal ES, a battery saver circuit 37 is operated after a prescribed time to perform battery saving of ON and OFF periods TON, TOFF. When the master set 1 receives the signal ES, a synchronizing signal generating circuit 18 generates an incoming synchronizing signal AS after a prescribed time in the same period as the battery saving operation. When a call detection circuit 16 detects a call signal CS, an incoming signal ACS is generated after a prescribed time from the signal AS generated just before the signal CS is incoming. The telephone set 3 detects the signal ACS at the period TON and then actuates the circuit 37 to bring the receiver 35 to continuous operation. |
