The description relates to N,N-dialkyl aniline derivatives with activators for cyanoacrylate adhesives. They may be used as solutions or pastes. They have advantages over prior art dimethyl toluidine, especially with regard to odour but also concerning toxicity. In addition, they facilitate transparent adhesive joints with adequate strength and controlled curing.
