This coupling for a deep-boring drill rod has two sleeves that screw together. Welded on to each is a central hollow rod and, at the side of this, auxiliary pipes. Between the two sleeves there is a connecting pipe. The auxiliary pipes are each connected by oblique channels to an annular space in each coupling sleeve. The two annular spaces are connected together at the outside of the connecting pipe by a cylindrical annular space. USE/ADVANTAGE - The coupling allows unrestricted flow, with risk of blockage eliminated or at least very considerably reduced. Cleaning of the coupling is easily done.
