Process for recycling sulphur contg. wastes comprises, dealing with the wastes in a boiler furnace, or treating with waste acid to decompose. The S02 released, after cleaning up, is a commodity of commerical value. USE/ADVANTAGE - Process approx. doubles the flue gas desulphurisation S02 recovery for Wellman-Ford type processes, by increasing the amt. of sulphur fed to the boiler furnace, and is partic. effective for use in conjuction with "low sulphur" lead fuels.
