Welding appts. for welding together glass frames comprises several pairs of conduction and activation elements (27,28) which connect the electrodes (18,19) to the electrical source as well as move one of the electrodes (19) so that the pair can perform the welding process. The number of pairs of electrodes correspond to the number of welds required on the frame. The pressure applied to the weld area is controlled by the drive mechanism of the elements, (27,28).
