PICTURE IMAGE LOCKING METHOD OR CIRCUIT OF DIGITAL CAMERA

The circuit and method is to lock image unwanted to display using a password so that the image is not displayed for unwanted persons. The method comprises the steps: (A) loading data in FAT region on RAM and checking that the reproducing file number is locked; (B) displaying locked state for the file number and checking the locked state of next file when the file lock is not released; (C) comparing the input password with the lock information so that error massage is displayed when checked data do not agree; (D) removing lock state when lock state removal is requested by a user; (E) changing or inserting a password for the request from a user; and (F) continuing reproducing when no key input is detected.
