Holder for optical fibre splice and storage cassettes - accepts stack of cassettes slid into parallel grooves and retained by trapezoidal heads of resilient catches

Each of the parallel grooves (2) is broadened locally into a recess (3) contg. a catch (5) formed on the end of a resilient arm (4), and positioned to enter into a notch in the bar across the end of a cassette. The catch (5) has a trapezoidal head (6) which extends between the trailing and leading edges of the recess (3). Pref. two notches are arranged symmetrically near respective ends of the bar. ADVANTAGE - Cassettes are stacked and held firmly in holder from which they can be withdrawn individually for repair without disturbance of stack.
