<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a cable from being damaged even if this cable, transferring a front wheel steered variable, is seized or bound in a casing. CONSTITUTION:Using a cable 67 stored in a tubular casing 71, a front-wheel steered variable is transferred to the rear. The casing 71 is split at an intermediate position of the cable 67, and a rear end of the casing 71 at the front side is clamped to a cylinder 124. On the other hand, a front end of the rear end casing 71 is clamped to a rack 127 constituting a ratchet mechanism. A bolt 125 is screwed in the cylinder 124, while a pawl member 131, constituting this retachet mechanism, is clamped to this bolt 125, and a pawl of this member 131 is engaged with the rack 127. This pawl is constituted so as to be deformed at a time when larger force than usual time is given, therefore when large force is given to the ratchet mechanism, the pawl is deformed whereby engagement with the pawl member 131 against the rack 127 is thus released.</p> |
