PURPOSE:To manufacture a single-focus collimator having high precision in a caustic curve. CONSTITUTION:In regard to a collimator structure manufactured by lead casting so that the dimension in the longitudinal direction is L', a caustic curve is measured optically and a corrective value for minimizing the amount of deviation of the caustic curve is determined. The left and right parts in the longitudinal direction of the structure are removed by cutting by dimensions of (kappa+alpha) and kappa respectively so that the dimension in the longitudinal direction be L. Thereby a single-focus collimator wherein the position of the caustic curve is corrected to be of a design value is obtained. |
