PURPOSE:To improve leakage current characteristics by a method wherein a capacitor element is dipped in heated and molten TCNQ complex salt, the TCNQ complex salt is cooled and solidified to form a solid electrolytic layer and the electrolytic layer is coated with powder paints while being coated with an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:A formation liquid is used for a capacitor element 1, voltage is applied and formation is conducted, and separator paper is carbonized through heat treatment. On the other hand, the powder 6 of TCNQ complex salt is admitted into a bottomed cylindrical aluminum case 5, and the capacitor element 1 is dipped into the hot-molten liquefied TCNQ complex salt and impregnated with the complex salt. The case 5 is quenched, the TCNQ complex salt 6 is solidified, powder paints 9 are introduced into the case 5, and the powder paints are melted and solidified. An epoxy resin 7 is injected into the case 5 and cured, and rated voltage is applied and the epoxy resin is aged. Accordingly, a solid electrolytic capacitor, in which leakage currents are not changed to the thermal stress of soldering and which has excellent heat resistance, can be acquired. |
