<p>A strip (2) of metal provided with alternate short (5) and long (4) teeth (3) can be secured to the base of a golf bag with the teeth (3) pointing downwards. The strip (2) is held around the base of the golf bag by a fastener (9) which includes a hook (12) which can be inserted in a selected one of a series of keyhole shaped holes (6) in the strip (2). Selected ones of the teeth (3) can be bent under the golf bag to provide additional support therefor. In use, the teeth (3) penetrate soft ground and support the golf bag in a generally upright position. <IMAGE></p> |
