<p>Wheel brake comprising:
- at least two brake discs (1, 2);
- a pressurised brake fluid supply (19); and
- a pressure system (9, 13, 14) connected to the said brake fluid supply (19) and acting on the said brake discs (1, 2).
<??>According to the invention, this brake is characterised in that at least one (1) of the said brake discs is metal, while at least the other (2) of the said discs is made from carbon; in that the said pressure system comprises jacks (13, 14) respectively combined with the said metal disc (1) and with the said carbon disc (2) and supplied with brake fluid by means of respective links (26, 27) in parallel; and in that communication-interruption means (28, 29, 30), sensitive to the action of the pressure of the said brake fluid, are arranged on the link (26) connecting the said supply (19) to the said first jack (13) combined with the said metal disc (1).
