PURPOSE:To improve the high reliability and heat resistance of the optical isolator which eliminates reflected return light to a laser, etc., by improving an assembling and fixing method. CONSTITUTION:A Faraday element 6 and polarizers 7 and 7 are put in holders 4, 2, and 3 by glass sealing and the holders 2, 3, and 4 are adjusted and fixed by laser welding mutually or together with the casing 1 to constitute the optical isolator made of a completely inorganic material which does not use any organic material such as an adhesive. |
