The subject of the present invention is a device for treating plant grains, comprising, in a housing (1), means (2) for feeding the grains, located in the upper part of the housing (1), means (3) for dispensing the grains in a rain-like fashion, located below and in the axis of the means (2) for feeding, means (10) for humidifying the grains by spraying water, means (16) for drying (draining) the grains, means for transferring the humidified grains in the direction of an outlet lock (26-27) located in the lower part of the said housing (1), and means (40) for measuring the humidity content of the grains, placed at the outlet lock (26-27). The present invention applies more particularly to the humidification of cereal grains, for example for the milling trade. <IMAGE>
