PURPOSE:To prevent the waste of a specimen and save the time spent for remeasurement without any need of the remeasurement even in the case of the speciman for which suction insufficiency is detected when specimen suction is performed prior to analysis treatment. CONSTITUTION:A specimen for which suction insufficiency is detected by an suction monitor 3 is transferred to a specimen temporary storage part 6 without directly being transferred to a measurement line. A ratio of dilution for increasing an insufficient quantity and the quantity necessary for measurement is found by the use of a specimen measuring probe 7 in the specimen temporary storage part 7. Next the specimen is transferred to the measurement line 12, the measurement is performed after the dilution, and then the measured value is corrected on the basis of the ratio of the dilution. The remeasurement of the specimen for which suction insufficiency is detected can be dispensed with. |
