PURPOSE:To obtain the firm bonding and the free pivoting of both members by simple producing process, which the lowering of the strength in fitting, the insufficiency of free pivoting and the complicated condition in producing process which have been the shortage of former method such as the separate molding of an inner diameter-member and an outer diameter-member and the caulking after the press-fitting or inserting of the inner diameter-member into the outer diameter-member, is removed. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter-part of an inner diameter-member 2 has spherical shape or partially spherical shape, and an outer diameter-member 3 covers a part of said spherical shape or the whole thereof, whereby the inner diameter-member 2 and the outer diameter member 3 may be moved freely, and thus, an universal joint is produced. In said manufacture, preliminarily molded outer diameter-member 3 or inner diameter-member 2 are press fitted into a mold cavity 4, and the inner diameter-member 2 or the outer diameter- member 3 are molded in the cavity whose inner diameter or outer diameter is made small by the dimension corresponding to the interference for press fitting, and then the molded object is taken out from the cavity and the clearance by which both members may be freely moved, is provided. |
