<p>PURPOSE:To produce a water-permeable elastic cover member in high productivity and workability while improving the bonding workability and curability of adhesive in the bonding of a rubbery elastic sheet to the outer surface of a side ditch cover made of metal plate or concrete. CONSTITUTION:The objective water-permeable elastic cover member can be produced by (1) coating the outer surface of a cover member 2 made of a metal plate or concrete with a primer 4 composed of a chlorinated rubber, an urethane prepolymer, a silane coupling agent, etc., (2) separately applying a tackifier agent 6 composed of xylene, an amine catalyst and a silane coupling agent to one side surface of an elastic and water-permeable sheet material 1 produced by fixing EPDM rubber chips 1a with a binder 1b made of urethane resin, and applying a one-pack urethane adhesive 7 to the treated surface, and (3) contacting the outer surface of the cover member 2 with one side face of the sheet material 1 and curing the adhesive with moisture to integrate both members. The tackifier agent 4 intrudes into the gaps X between the rubber chips in the press-forming to accelerate the curing of the adhesive.</p> |
