<p>PURPOSE:To prevent power supply from downing by reducing energy consumption when high energy consumption of a load endures for a long time and subsequently exceeds the capacity of power supply to cause power supply voltage drop. CONSTITUTION:Power supply voltage to be fed to a thermal head 8 is detected through a voltage dividing circuit 16 and compared with a reference voltage through a comparator 17. If the detected voltage is lower than the reference voltage, width of pulse outputted from a vibrator 10 is shortened thus ON interval of a transistor 14 is shortened than a normal one.</p> |
