PURPOSE:To make the whole package size compact, suppress the size at the time of transporation within the limit for transporation, and provide a fuel cell able to be installed in a norrowed space by storing a plurality of fuel cell main bodies closely each other in a box. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of single cells, composed of a pair of porous electrodes so set as to sandwich an electrolyte layer, are stacked to give a single cell stacked body 1. A manifold for reaction gas circulation is set in the side of the stacked body 1 to compose a fuel cell main body. A plurality of fuel cell main bodies 1 are stored in one box 20. The manifold for reaction gas circulation is composed of two kinds of manifolds of a folded manifold 5b and supplying-discharging manifolds 5a, 6a, 6b to which reaction gas ducts are connected. Folded manifolds 5b, 5b are set closely each other in respective opposite sides of neighboring two cell main bodies and the supplying-discharging manifolds 5a, 6a, 6b are set in the other sides of the two cell main bodies. |
