PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having an excellent electric characteristic by containing a prescribed amount of metal hydroxide, in which polyolefin is subjected to surface treatment with a prescribed coupling agent so as to perform a cross-link. CONSTITUTION:A metal oxide of 50 to 300wt.%, in which polyolefin 100wt.% is subjected to surface treatment with a silane coupling agent and an alkyl alkoxisilane coupling agent having a vinyl radical or polysulfide coupling is contained in an electric insulating composition and this is cross-linked. As polyolefin, polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer and others are used singly or as a mixture of two kinds thereof or more. As the metal hydroxide, Al hydroxide, Mg hydroxide can be used. An excellent electric characteristic supressing lowering of elongation by jointly using a silane coupling agent and an alkyl alkoxisilane coupling agent having a vinyl radical or a polysulfide coupling in order to perform surface treatment. |
