<p>PURPOSE:To shorten temperature rising time of particulates and regeneration time of a filtler, provide efficient regeneration in the whole filter area, and prevent the filter from being damaged in a regenerating device for filter which heats particulates captured in exhaust gas of a diesel engine with micro waves. CONSTITUTION:The primary and secondary catalyst components which decompose and remove low boiling point components and high boiling point components of particulates at a low temperature are held in a filter 18 which captures particulates. Besides, when particulates captured by the filter reaches a preset capture amount, microwaves are fed to a heating chamber 17 to heat the particulates captured by the filter 18. At this time, the primary catalyst component which is held in the filter 18 first decomposes and removes low boiling point components of the particulates, and then the secondary catalyst component functions so that the ignition temperature of remaining high boiling point components may become low.</p> |
