<p>PURPOSE:To offer an IC memory card and its card holder capable of reducing the consumption of the battery of the card holder for data holding voltage when an SRAM is used as semiconductor memory and by using a connector in common to an EEPROM card. CONSTITUTION:When the connector 22 is connected to a host processing device in accordance with the SRAM 28, a source voltage Vcc supplied from the host processing device by a switch 24 and a switch driving circuit 26 is impressed to the SRAM 28. When the IC memory card is connected to the card holder 10 which backs up when it is not used, the source voltage of the dry battery 14 of the card holder 10 is supplied to the SRAM 28 via a terminal #11 for program voltage supply and a Zener diode 36. When the IC memory card is connected erroneously to the host processing device in accordance with an EEPROM, a program voltage of high voltage impressed to the terminal #11 for program voltage supply of the connector 22 is decreased to a prescribed voltage 3V by the Zener diode 36, which protects the SRAM 28 and data held in the SRAM.</p> |
