<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal head which maintains a constantly fixed number of signals to be entered form an external connector, if the number of divided printing steps increases during divided printing process and is highly reliable and hardly susceptible to adverse nozzle effects without the formation of a complicated circuit on a printed circuit substrate or a ceramic substrate. CONSTITUTION:This thermal head is equipped with a strobe signal generation circuit which outputs a single strobe signal every time a pulse for drive command is received for outputting strobe signals sequentially from strobe signal generation terminals, in a state where the circuit can be activated upon a latch command.</p> |
