PURPOSE:To ensure excellent compression efficiency by performing smooth response to control of capacity, preventing lowering of compression efficiency and the generation of noise even when an inevitable size precision error is present and minimizing the fluctuation width of a top clearance occasioned by the change of capacity. CONSTITUTION:A device comprising a mounting hole 6a formed in a support arm 6 protruded from a rotation support body 5, a spherical body 9 which is rockably mounted in the mounting hole 6a and through which a guide hole 9a is formed, and a guide pin 10 secured to a rotation drive body 11 in a state to maintain a given offset angle alpha with a swash plate 15 and reciprocatively and loosely engaged with the guide hole 9a is employed as a hinge mechanism K. By means of a fulcrum position P of a guide pin 10, a working point position Q positioned facing a top dead center and on the swash plate 15 having a compression reaction force from a piston 19 and a maximum inclination angle thetamax and a minimum inclination angle thetamin of the swash plate 15, an offset angle alphais set so that a clearance TC at a maximum and a minimum capacity period is kept at a proper value. |
