<p>PURPOSE:To repair a leakage of piping urgently but accurately without stopping the operation of a plant by inserting a sealant injecting jig, made up of forming such a material as low in hardness into a truncated conical form, into a leakage part of the piping and, after installing it with a mounting jig, injecting a sealant thereinto. CONSTITUTION:When a drain valve causes an internal leakage and thereby steam is blown off to a funnel 5, first of all, a mounting jig 11 is attached to this funnel 5, and a sealant injecting jig 21 is inserted into an opening part of a drain pipe 3. At this time, this injecting jig 21 is formed into a truncated conical form from material of gunmetal or the like being low in hardness as compared with piping, through which the leakage from the jig outside is kept back after getting it fitted to the pipe. In succession, a sealant injecting hole 22 and a vent hole 23 are installed in the injecting jig 21, and these elements are opened to the top and side of the truncated cone, while they are interconnected to a hydraulic cylinder and a vent pipeline. Furthermore a pressing rod 13 with threads is screwed in a pedestal 12 of the mounting jig 11, and this tip is engaged with a recess 25 on a bottom surface of the truncated cone.</p> |
