PURPOSE:To provide a wind velocity detector in which abnormality output is not transmitted to the outside even when abnormality occurs in a wind velocity sensor. CONSTITUTION:The output of a wind velocity sensor 12 is transmitted into an outside circuit through an amplifier 14 and a signal switch 16. When abnormality occurs in the wind velocity sensor 12, the signal switch 16 is changed over by the signal of a comparator 18. The signal of a fail safe signal generator 20 is transmitted to the outside circiut. However, in the case where a plurality of the wind velocity sensors are used, the average value of the output signal of the wind velocity sensors are transmitted to the signal switch 16. The difference of the output signals of the plurality of the wind velocity sensors is input into a comparator 18. When the difference becomes large, the signal is transmitted to the signal switch 16 from the comparator 18. |
