A device for shredding and mixing fibrous products intended for the preparation of animal feedstuffs comprises a box within which means for mixing and shredding the said fibrous materials are mounted. According to the invention the said mixing and shredding means comprise a single screw which is separated into two sections by means of an intermediate dividing septum which is integral with the shaft of the said screw; the screw is provided with a first right hand screw section and a second left hand screw section and the box comprises a partly cylindrical base in which the screw is housed, from which base there extends a generally vertical wall and an oblique opposite wall. <IMAGE> |
