The present invention relates to a method making it possible to record, in spatial mode, in mono or in stereo, with the aid of at least one microphone, characterised in that it consists in making this microphone or these microphones receive at least two different sound waves, among the four mutually perpendicular possibilities: frontal direct waves E1, lateral reverberation waves E2, rear reverberation waves E3, and ceiling reverberation waves E4. Its subject is also an apparatus enabling sound recording which consists of a support on a leg (1) with its anti-resonant retaining appendages (2), of a microphone (3), and of two reverberating plates (4) and (5): a lateral reverberation plate (4) for the E2 sound wave reverberation, and a rear reverberation plate (5) for the E3 sound wave reverberation.
