The heater is based on the use of gas as energy and is formed of a closed fluid circuit in which are interposed a circulation pump, a gas heater through which the fluid is passed in order to heat the latter, and a radiator with a fan for dissipation of the hot fluid into the environment it is desired to heat. The apparatus includes an electrovalve for the cutting-off and passage of gas to the heater and also thermostats for deactivating the electrovalve or for cutting off the entire system if circumstances or specific anomalies of operation require it. <IMAGE>
