PURPOSE:To provide a composition having excellent properties of dielectric ceramic such as low-temperature baking property, high dielectric constant and Q-value and small temperature dependency of dielectric constant and resonance frequency. CONSTITUTION:Glass powder having the composition of anorthite-calcium titanate is compounded with TiO2 and RE2Ti2O7 (RE is rare-earth metal) at ratios satisfying the formulas 50<=x<=95, 0<=y<=30, 0<=z<=40 and 5<=y+z<=50 (x is wt.% of glass; y is wt.% of TiO2; z is wt.% of RE2Ti2O7) and the obtained powdery mixture is baked to obtain the objective dielectric ceramic composition containig TiO2 particles and RE2Ti2O7 particles dispersed in a matrix phase consisting of mixed anorthite calcium titanate crystals. |
