PURPOSE:To enhance charge controllability, environment resistance, storage stability, general usability as a color toner, and safety to human bodies by incorporating a specified silicon-containing complex compound as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:The silicon-containing complex compound to be used as the effective component is represented by formula I in which A<1> is a group of formula II; A<2> is a group of formula III; A<3> is a group of formula IV; Z is 2X<+> or Y<2+>; X<+> is an H, alkali metal, or organic ammonium ion; Y<2+> is an alkaline earth metal ion; and each of R<1>-R<9> is independently H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, or the like. This toner is prepared by adding 0.1-10 pts.wt. of at least one of charge controllers and a colorant to 100 pts.wt. of the resin. |
