<p>PURPOSE: To provide a retroreflective sheet material exhibiting a durable fluorescence. CONSTITUTION: In the fluorescent product comprising a colored layer 12 having first and second sides and a screen layer 18 provided on the first side of the layer 12; the layer 12 contains a daylight fluorescent dye dissolved in a polymeric matrix, and the dye contains one or more types of a thioxanthene dye, thioindigoid dye, benzoxazolcholine dye and Perileneimide dye. The matrix is one or more of a polycarbonate, polyacrylimide, polyester or polyethylene. The screen layer is substantially transparent for a visible light, and has a means for shutting off a substantial part of an incident ultraviolet ray.</p> |
